Visit STRAAT this autumn break!

STRAAT is the museum to visit this autumn break. Both youngsters and the slightly less young can find all sorts of entertainment in our 8000 m2 warehouse on the NDSM terrain in Amsterdam. We have an awesome treasure hunt, mini-workshops, interactive installations and much more. 

Treasure hunt

Our STRAAT treasure hunt is the ideal way to get kids between the ages of 6 and 12 to check out the works in our exhibition with focus and enthusiasm. The treasure hunt is available at the reception free of charge. On top of that, it’s a great souvenir in the form of a poster!

Mini-workshops

From October 15th - 30th we’re organizing workshops - inside our museum - on a daily basis between 11 am and 3 (*except on Monday, when we open at noon) pm for youngsters under 18 y/o. Kids between the ages of 6 and 18 can paint their own graffiti masterpiece with the assistance of an experienced teacher. Kids under the age of 6 can transform empty spray cans into an artwork. AR Graffiti

You’ll also find the interactive installation AR Graffiti by the Dutch WERC Collective inside our museum. The graffiti elements of AR Graffiti are painted with electrically conductive paint. By touching one of the details with your hand, you trigger the video projection, which causes the image of AR Graffiti to change. Kids absolutely love this one. Adults can also properly enjoy themselves in the best museum in Amsterdam. Our collection consists of more than 150 artworks by international street artists. In the upcoming period you can even catch artists painting live. Keep an eye on our socials for updates on this. On top of that, we have a cozy in-house cafe, a stunning in-house gallery, a great audio tour and exciting guided tours. Long story short; STRAAT is the ideal getaway this autumn break!
