Good to know before you go

  • Do you have a cold or fever? We look forward to seeing you back when you are healthy!

  • Facemasks should be worn in all areas of the building.
  • Backpacks and bags might be checked at the entrance.

  • The warehouse isn't heated: wear the same warm clothes you would in the streets.

  • Small backpacks, bags and /or jackets can be stored in one of our lockers, free of charge (if available).

  • STRAAT Museum resides in an industrial warehouse. Please be aware that although the exhibition is on ground level, the floor can be uneven due to the industrial character of the building.

House rules


  • Please practice social distancing with people outside of your household.
  • Backpacks, umbrellas, suitcases and travel bags or large objects are not permitted into the museum. Pointed or edged objects as well as spray cans and/or markers will be confiscated.  
  • It is not permitted, in any occasion, to touch the artworks. 
  • Photos and videos may be taken for private use only (without flash). Tripods may not be used.
  • It is not permitted to either sit or hang over the railing of the Panorama Deck.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the museum, with the exception of registered service dogs.
  • It is not permitted to bring and/or consume your own consumptions in the museum.
  • It is not permitted to smoke inside the museum.
  • Please show consideration for other visitors and try to restrain any loud or disruptive noise. 
  • It is not permitted to run in the museum.
  • Instructions given by our staff have to be followed at all times.
  • If house rules are not complied with, our staff will ask the visitor(s) concerned to leave the museum. 
  • STRAAT is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of personal property.
