Floor crew member

Are you passionate about arts and culture? Would you like to be a part of our flexible team at the museum for street art and graffiti on the iconic NDSM Wharf in Amsterdam?

In October 2020, STRAAT opened its doors. The museum is located in the former welding warehouse on the NDSM-plein (NDSM Square). The museum has an ongoing exhibition, a gallery with bi-monthly shows, a bar/restaurant and a museum shop.

We are looking for fun people, who can offer our guests a special and inspiring experience with the right kind of enthusiasm, in rotating shifts. Availability in the weekend is a big plus.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be working as a host to assist our guests with their potential questions regarding the artworks, the museum and our warehouse. You’ll also make sure no artworks are touched or damaged. Furthermore, you’ll be on duty in our museum shop, reception and/or gallery in rotating shifts. Besides that, plenty of events are held at STRAAT, during which you’ll take on a supportive role as well.

What do we offer

A nice secondary job in an inspiring work environment! A location where all kinds of art, music and bar/restaurant happenings are given the space they deserve. You’ll join a team of enthusiastic colleagues, and you can contribute to the growth of a unique museum. This will surely present nice challenges for you.
