Good to know

  • During the winter months, it can get quite cold inside our museum. We advise everyone to dress as if you're going for an outside walk when visiting STRAAT. Due to the size of our warehouse, it's impossible to heat up the main exhibition hall. Do note that our cafe, shop and Groundwork and Mezzanine exhibition spaces are heated, so there are plenty of opportunities to recharge;
  • Umbrellas, suitcases, backpacks and large objects are not allowed inside the exhibition room. This also applies to pointed or edged objects, spray cans and markers;
  • Backpacks and bags can be searched when entering our museum;
  • Small backpacks, bags and jackets can be stored free of charge in one of our lockers;

 

  • It is not allowed to touch the artworks;
  • Photos and videos for private use only. No flash, no tripods, no selfie sticks;

 

  • It is not allowed to either sit on or hang over the railing on the Panorama Deck;
  • Running is not allowed inside our museum;
  • Instructions given by our staff are to be followed at all times;
  • If house rules are not complied with, you will be asked to leave the museum;

 

  • Pets are not allowed inside the museum, except for registered service dogs;
  • It is not allowed to bring your own consumptions;
  • Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside our museum; 
  • STRAAT resides in an industrial warehouse. The floor can be uneven due to the industrial character of the building;

 

  • STRAAT is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of personal property;
