Good to know

  • Do you have a cold or a fever? Please stay home and follow all COVID guidelines. We look forward to welcoming you once you’ve fully recovered;
  • Face masks must be worn at all times;
  • Backpacks and bags can be searched when entering our museum;
  • Our museum isn't heated: dress like you’re going for a walk outside;
  • Small backpacks, bags and jackets can be stored free of charge in one of our lockers (unless all lockers are in use);
  • STRAAT resides in an industrial warehouse. Although the exhibition is on ground level, the floor can be uneven due to the industrial character of the building.

House rules

  • Please practice social distancing; stay at least 1.5m away from anyone who isn’t part of your household;
  • Backpacks, umbrellas, suitcases and travel bags, as well as large objects are not allowed inside the museum. Pointed or edged objects, as well as spray cans and/or markers will be confiscated;
  • It is not allowed to touch the artworks - there are no exceptions to this rule; 
  • Photos and videos for private use only. No flash, no tripods, no selfie sticks;
  • It is not allowed to either sit on or hang over the railing of the Panorama Deck;
  • Pets are not allowed inside the museum, except for registered service dogs;
  • It is not allowed to bring your own consumptions;
  • Smoking and vaping are not allowed - there are no exceptions to this rule; 
  • Please show consideration for other visitors and try to restrain from making any loud or disruptive noises; 
  • Running is not allowed;
  • Instructions given by our staff are to be followed at all times;
  • If house rules are not complied with, you will be asked to leave the museum; 
  • STRAAT is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of personal property.
