Stencil Art Workshop

Get to know one of the most iconic techniques in street art: working with stencils. Street artists use stencils to quickly, precisely, and repeatedly apply images or text to walls and other surfaces — and now it’s your turn to give it a go!

During this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of stencil art under the guidance of one of our experienced instructors. Design your own stencil or choose from existing templates, then create your unique artwork on a tote bag using spray paint. You’ll take your bag home at the end of the workshop!

Combine your workshop with a visit to STRAAT. Many of the artists in our collection work with stencils — making it the perfect place to get inspired before you start creating your own piece. Please note: participation in the workshop is only possible with a valid museum ticket.
