STRAAT Museum is a museum for street art and graffiti. We showcase over 180 artworks created by 170+ artists, while our full collection includes many more works. The artworks on display change regularly, and new works are constantly added to the collection. You might even see artists working live at STRAAT. Check our See & Do agenda for the current schedule.
Our museum is open on Mondays from 12 PM to 5 PM and from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM. Please note that we may occasionally open later, close earlier or close for private events. Always check the current opening hours on our website before your visit.

STRAAT Museum is located in an industrial warehouse. Please note that due to the building’s industrial character, the floors are uneven. The museum has an elevator to the gallery and café. An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor. Currently, the panorama deck and meeting room are unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair. Tickets
We recommend booking your ticket in advance via our website. Tickets are usually available at the door as well, but be sure to check the current opening hours before visiting. The museum may occasionally open later, close earlier or close for private events. We don’t want you to find a closed door.

Yes! With an I Amsterdam City Card you can get free tickets to STRAAT Museum. Please note: these tickets are only valid when presenting your I amsterdam City Card. The card will be scanned at the entrance. Click here to book your ticket.
No, as a STRAAT member your membership card is your entrance ticket. Make sure to bring it with you when visiting. You may also bring one guest for free when showing your membership card. Please note: the membership card is personal.
You can easily change the date of your ticket(s) yourself via the ticket support page, up to 24 hours before your visit. This cannot be done by email or phone. Ticket cancellations are only possible with a valid reason and must also be requested via the ticket support page.
Opening hours & accessibility
Our museum is open on Mondays from 12:00 to 17:00 and from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. Please note that we may occasionally open later, close earlier or close for private events. Always check the current opening hours on our website before your visit.
We are usually open on public holidays. On Christmas (25 and 26 December) we are open from 12:00 to 17:00, and on New Year's Day (1 January) we are closed. Always check our website for up-to-date opening hours.
STRAAT Museum is easy to reach by public transport, via the free ferry or by bus and metro. You can find an overview of the options on our Plan Your Visit page.
We recommend visiting the museum by public transport, thanks to the convenient connection with Amsterdam Central Station and the free NDSM ferry. Prefer coming by car? Plan your route via Google Maps.
We recommend visiting by public transport, as parking around the NDSM-werf can be limited due to frequent events. Parking costs €1.66 per hour from Monday to Saturday (09:00–19:00) and on Sundays from 12:00. Parking garages APCOA and ParkBee are a 5-minute walk from the museum.
Practical information
We only accept debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express).
You can use our lockers near the entrance free of charge for small bags, backpacks, and coats. There is no separate cloakroom.

Yes, our STRAAT Café is located on the second and third floors and offers food and drinks all day with a view of the exhibition. The café follows the same opening hours as the museum. Click here to view our café menu.
No, the café is only accessible with a museum ticket.
This is generally not allowed. In exceptional cases, depending on the circumstances, an exception may be made. Please ask our staff during your visit.
STRAAT Museum is located in an industrial warehouse, so temperatures can’t be fully regulated. This means it can be chilly in winter and warm in summer. We recommend dressing as if you’re going for an outdoor walk. Our café, shop and gallery spaces are temperature controlled.
Pets are not allowed inside the museum. Registered assistance dogs are welcome.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not allowed inside the museum.
Consuming your own food and drinks inside the museum is not allowed.
Taking photos and videos for personal use is allowed, and we love it when you share them on social media! Please use the hashtag #straatmuseum.
For professional photography, filming or other recordings, you must request permission at least 3 days in advance via info@straatmuseum.com. Without written permission, staff may ask you to stop filming or photographing and to leave the museum.

Tours & workshops
Yes! A free audio tour is available on your own mobile phone. We recommend bringing earphones or headphones. At the museum entrance, you can scan a QR code to start the tour. The audio tour is available in Dutch and English.
Yes, we offer guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays. During school holidays, extra tours are sometimes available. Check our See & Do page for the current schedule. You can also book a private group tour (minimum 10 people) year-round. Click here for more information.
Yes, we offer various workshops where you can learn graffiti techniques or create your own piece. Check our See & Do page for the full range. It’s also possible to book a group workshop (minimum 10 people). See our Groups page for more information.
Museumshop & webshop
The museum shop follows the same opening hours as the museum. Outside these hours, you can visit our webshop.
Our museum shop offers a wide range of products related to STRAAT Museum — books, prints, clothing, toys, collectors’ items, and much more! We aim to collaborate with street artists from around the world while keeping production close to home.
Our shop is usually only accessible with a museum ticket, but in some cases we can make an exception. Please contact support@straatmuseum.com in advance.
