On show from October 13th: Urban Artivism

Our latest exhibition Urban Artivism will be on show from October 13th. In this exhibition we’ll showcase how the art form of today brings change to the environment of tomorrow.

Street art and graffiti have long been powerful tools for activism, allowing individuals to express their views and advocate for social and political change. In recent years, these artistic forms have also played a significant role in raising awareness about environmental issues and calling for action to address them. During the exhibition Urban Artivism, we’ll highlight artists in our STRAAT collection that dedicate their artistic career to environmental change. One of the highlights of the exhibition will be the installation made by environmental activist Dulk. A free Urban Artivism audio tour is available at our reception.

About DULK

Spanish artist Dulk (Antonio Segura) is one of the most important names in the Valencian street art scene. His body of work began in the form of urban art and mural painting - to which he remains closely linked till this day -, combined with study work. He continues to research and create new forms of expression through drawing, sculpture art, photography and more. His work has a strong ecological conviction to defend ecosystems and the most vulnerable species, and invites the viewer to be part of a unique fantasy world, full of energy and special colors. A dream world with animals and natural spaces that tells personal, universal and unique stories.

The Urban Artivism exhibition can be attended with a regular STRAAT entry ticket.
