On Monday, November 28th, The Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Award 2022 was presented by Queen Máxima to the Anne Frank Foundation in STRAAT. The lifetime achievement award of € 100,000 was handed out during a joyful ceremony in our museum, with a couple of hundred invitees in attendance.
Cathelijne Broers, Managing Director Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds: “The Anne Frank Foundation is a lovely and deserving winner of our cultural lifetime achievement award, presented on a yearly basis to an organization or individual who puts on for culture or nature in a special and dedicated manner. This Foundation has been highlighting the life story and philosophy of Anne Frank in a creative and inspiring manner for decades.”
We couldn’t imagine a better location to reward the Anne Frank Foundation for their special commitment, considering the giant Anne Frank mural by Eduardo Kobra on our outdoor wall.
The Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Award has been presented to individuals or organizations who put on for culture or nature in an extraordinary manner since 2010.
