Casa NaLata x STRAAT: NaLata ‘24

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming collaboration with the biggest street art festival in South America: NaLata.

NaLata is an international street art festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The festival is best known for inviting leading international artists to take over the city by painting the sides of skyscrapers. Okuda, PichiAvo and Shepard Fairey to name a few. Aside from the art, the festival also features free talks, workshops and music, highlighting all components of the street art community.

This 5th edition of NaLata will feature a pop-up museum called Casa NaLata x STRAAT. Inside a warehouse in São Paulo inspired by our own museum on the NDSM, this mini-STRAAT replicates the aura and energy of our Amsterdam homebase. Curated by Luan Cardoso together with our very own head curator, David Roos, this special part of the program features works by 40 artists, like Eneri, Enivo, Magrela, Deco Treco and Tinho. All work will be created on site. Some of these works will join our collection in Amsterdam next year.

This exciting collaboration between NaLata and STRAAT has made it possible for Dutch duo TelmoMiel to join this prominent street art festival. They will create a big mural on a skyscraper as part of the main program of the festival.
