Dulk

(Spain, 1983)

“The Giant Change is inspired by the Albufera Natural Park in Valencia, Spain. With this immersive experience, we share a story about the importance of protecting nature and wildlife. The Giant Change refers to the worldwide wetlands, and the problems they’re having due to droughts and climate change. The ecosystems where flamingos live, which are also home to many other animals and thousands of bird species, are threatened all around the world. Take a closer look at this installation’s intricate contours, and embark on a visual journey that narrates a compelling tale of our collective responsibility to safeguard nature and its awe-inspiring biodiversity. Be captivated by the narrative woven into every curve, every shade, and every feather of this monumental sculpture. Your presence adds another layer to the evolving story of art as a catalyst for change.” / Dulk

The Giant Change was the centerpiece of our Urban Artivism exhibition, powered by ABN AMRO. With Urban Artivism, we highlighted artists that dedicate their career to environmental change.
