Dulk Urban Artivism

-

Street art and graffiti have long been powerful tools for activism, allowing individuals to express their views and advocate for social and political change. In recent years, these artistic forms have also played a significant role in raising awareness about environmental issues and calling for action to address them.

About STRAAT

STRAAT is the museum for street art and graffiti. We showcase more than 180 artworks by 170+ artists. The artworks were created on-site and most of these mind blowing visual experiences are as big as outdoor walls. During the exhibition 'Urban Artivism' STRAAT highlights artists that dedicate their artistic career to environmental change. One of the highlights of the exhibition will be the installation made by environmental activist Dulk.

About DULK

Spanish artist Dulk (Antonio Segura) is one of the most important names in the Valencian street art scene. His body of work began in the form of urban art and mural painting - to which he remains closely linked till this day -, combined with study work. He continues to research and create new forms of expression through drawing, sculpture art, photography and more. His work has a strong ecological conviction to defend ecosystems and the most vulnerable species and invites the viewer to be part of a unique fantasy world, full of energy and special colors. A dream world with animals and natural spaces that tells personal, universal and unique stories.

Such a unique museum showcasing amazing street art and graffiti. Also gives a bit of a history of the movement. Absolutely recommend.

A very interesting place and one I thoroughly enjoyed. I find this art significantly more interesting than other places and can't wait to return in the future to see what new art there is. My favourite detail about this place is the donkey Kong, can you find it?
