STRAAT corona measures

Let's stay safe together

Museum Protocol Corona

Valid from October 2020

STRAAT puts the health and safety of its visitors first. This is why we follow the guidelines of the RIVM when it comes to hygiene measures and measures for health complaints.

The guidelines of the RIVM for museums and museum activities are at the core of this protocol.

Hygiene measures

  • Wash your hands often, especially after having shared a space with others.

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, then dry your hands thoroughly with a paper towel or blower. Then throw the paper in a sealable bin.

  • Wash your hands before going out, when you come home, after blowing your nose, before eating and after going to the bathroom.

  • Cough and sneeze into the inside of your elbow.

  • Use paper tissues to blow your nose, then throw them in a sealable bin. Then wash your hands.

  • Do not shake hands.

  • Keep 1.5 meter distance from others.

Measures for health complaints

  • Do you have symptoms such as a cold, runny nose, sore throat, mild cough or higher temperature (up to 38 degrees Celsius)? Stay at home!

  • Do you have a cold and fever (above 38 degrees Celsius) and / or shortness of breath? Stay at home - this also applies if your housemates have these complaints.

  • The maximum number of visitors allowed at any time is based on a five foot distance. For the time being, it is assumed 1 visitor or 1 household per 10 square meters of net floor space.

  • The national government defines as households: spouses, registered partners or other life companions and parents, grandparents and children, insofar as they live at one address.

  • STRAAT floor area is 8000 square meters.

  • STRAAT advises its visitors to buy a ticket and time slot online and in advance to guarantee capacity.

  • Spontaneous visit is possible. At the entrance desk, tickets are offered with a time slot of your choice. However, tickets sold online are cheaper.

  • At the museum, it's preferable to pay by pin. STRAAT asks its visitors to disinfect their hands before using the pin machine.

Walking route

  • STRAAT has opted for a fixed walking direction with one-way traffic. This walking route is marked by stickers on the floor, with arrows that guide visitors through the route.
