Wild Drawing

(Indonesia)

*This is a three-dimensional artwork that measures 6 x 2 x 1 meters

Wild Drawing was born and raised on Bali, Indonesia. He has degrees in both Fine Arts and Applied Arts. He started off as an urban artist in 2000 and has since spent most of his time painting in the streets. His work can be found in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Simultaneously, he never stopped working in his studio. Wild Drawing is based in Athens, Greece.

“In this installation, we see two humanoids intimately hold each other's hands, symbolizing how Artificial Intelligence tries to imitate human emotions. On the back side we see a glowing line that looks like a human figure, symbolizing the enigma of human emotions. The point of this work is to question whether AI can really decipher this enigma. By observing huge volumes of data about human behavior, such as gestures, facial expressions, tone of voice etc., software applications can process, interpret and interact with human emotions. As Artificial Intelligence continues to evolve, people wonder what it will be like when robots and humans live totally together. Are we really ready to face the blurry line between human and machine?” / Wild Drawing
