Frankey is well known for his site-specific installations, which can be discovered in unexpected spots of Amsterdam. When he entered STRAAT for the first time, the massive steel structures of the building immediately reminded him of Nintendo's popular arcade game Donkey Kong. Thereby, he decided to place an installation of this character on top of these structures. Like in the video game, this Donkey Kong has to run and jump between loopholes, obstacles and nearby enemies to beat the entire museum.
