Said Kinos painting Infinite Straat International Street Art Museum

Saïd Kinos

(The Netherlands, 1988)

Passionate about typography ever since he started with graffiti, Saïd paints fragmented words and sentences. These are inspired by the vast amount of information we consume on a daily basis, which he defines as a ‘sense of visual overkill’. In contrast to the ephemeral nature of digital media, Infinite reflects on the deeper value of an artistic career.

“This is my first work that is in a museum collection, so I wanted it to say ‘infinite’ because I have the feeling that as artists we are always trying to leave a legacy.” / Saïd Kinos
