Pieter Ceizer

(The Netherlands, 1982)

Pieter Ceizer is a Dutch artist living in Paris. His work is a mix of poetry, empowerment and humor. Some of his art consists of abstract type-inspired forms and shapes, other works directly communicate a feeling or mood and can be seen as 'one word poems'.

Hope was originally made for the city of Amsterdam and was placed and hand painted on Museumplein, where it stayed for an 8 month period. The sculpture was made to bring positive energy and hope to the people of Amsterdam during the insecure times of the pandemic.
