Phibs

Active in the graffiti scene since the late 1980s, Phibs fills the city with overlapping letters and characters. Using a ‘tribal’ style, he translates his love for nature into his signature motifs, which often feature fish and birds. Focusing on such figurative characters was key to the development of his lettering skills. This work stands out for its sharp lines and vibrant mix of complimentary colors, and is a good representation of Phibs’s body of work.
