The connection with the viewer is a central point behind Pez’s fish-like characters, used by him to convey positive messages. In Happy connections, his iconic fish figures are linked together as a group. This is a metaphor for how everybody in the international graffiti community is connected with one another, from passersby in the street to fellow artists and collectors. Pez loves that his lifestyle allows him to experience all these social bonds.
