Rooted in the traditional graffiti scene, Erwtje started drawing his cartoons in a more sophisticated way in 2018, focusing on the subculture of graffiti with romanticized scenes. Gateway prepping is more than just a very recognizable moment in the process of painting a train. It also tells a bigger story of the amount of preparation that comes with such a mission.
