We’re delighted to announce the exhibition Seth Se La Joue - All Ages Art Playground by the internationally acclaimed French artist Julien Malland, known as Seth (@seth_globepainter). The exhibition will run from October 4th, 2024, to March 2nd, 2025, showcasing a unique and engaging collection of works designed to captivate audiences of all ages, with a particular focus on inspiring and educating younger visitors.
Seth Se La Joue - All Ages Art Playground is a traveling exhibition that premiered at Le Musee en Herbe in Paris, and we’re very excited to host this second edition. This interactive exhibition features various thematic areas that invite visitors to explore and engage with the art in playful and educational ways. Through vibrant installations, thought-provoking artworks, and immersive experiences, Seth Se La Joue - All Ages Art Playground aims to spark creativity and curiosity among young audiences. Each part of the exhibition offers hands-on activities and interactive elements, making it a dynamic experience for families and school groups.
STRAAT Gallery
Part of the Seth Se La Joue - All Ages Art Playground exhibition will take place inside our STRAAT Gallery space. The works on show in our gallery will be available for sale for collectors and aficionados. The exhibition inside our gallery is an important part of the overall exhibition and will allow visitors to learn even more about Seth and his art.Â
Permament Collection
In addition to the exhibition, Seth will create a monumental 9 x 5 meter canvas for our permanent collection. This canvas will join over 200 other mural-scale works, further enhancing our vibrant and diverse collection.
Seth Se La Joue - All Ages Art Playground will present several educational opportunities abound with interactive games areas, art workshops, storytelling sessions, and more, designed to engage young audiences and school groups. The museum shop will feature a variety of ephemera, including T-shirts, hoodies, postcards, screen prints, books, and small toys, allowing visitors to also take home a smaller piece of the exhibition.
Opening Reception
Join us for a special opening reception on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, from 6 - 10 pm to celebrate the launch of this exciting exhibition. To attend the opening reception, please RSVP by emailing gallery@straatmuseum.com. Following the opening, starting on Friday, October 4th, the exhibition will be open to the public and included as part of any museum entry ticket.
