workshop doodle & tag

During this workshop, students are introduced to doodling and tagging, where they’ll discover how to develop their own visual style. We begin with an inspiration tour through the museum, where we’ll explore various artworks and draw inspiration from line work, shapes, patterns, and lettering. Afterwards, students will get hands-on with paper and markers. They’ll experiment with different drawing styles and individually develop their own doodle and tag. They then bring their designs together on a large sheet of paper, connecting their work with one another. The result is a collaborative artwork that brings together different ideas and personal styles. The workshop demonstrates how individual creativity can grow into a shared work of art.

The workshop supports learning when it comes to:

  • Artistic exploration: experiencing and observing art, and creating visual artwork independently.

  • Creative and problem-solving thinking: experimenting, making choices, and discovering solutions.

  • Collaboration and reflection: exchanging ideas and appreciating different perspectives.
