Passionate about bustling cities and people in motion, Joren got inspired by the industrial surroundings of our museum. The area recalls him of his romantic view of the working class, which he sees as ‘hard but pure’. Additionally, Break is about the work phase that Joren is experiencing as a designer.

“I'm always on the move, but because of that I sometimes forget why I’m doing something and what the next step will be. A break in the routine can also lead to new paths.” / Joren Joshua
