Inkie emerged from the 1980s Bristol graffiti scene alongside Banksy. This piece features Brigitte Bardot alongside his graffiti name. Inkie’s iconic wildstyle, which he baptized ‘ink nouveau’, is influenced by Islamic geometry and Mayan architecture. His female figures are inspired by the Art Nouveau movement and artists such as William Morris and Alphonse Mucha.
