Stunning portraits are the focus of Canadian artist Kevin Ledo. In his body of work, Kevin combines geometric abstraction with human forms. Using a style inspired by surrealism, iconography and pop art, his artworks are rooted in spirituality, particularly Buddhist philosophy.

The people portrayed in Kevin’s work are often people he has crossed paths with during his travels. This is also the case with the sinuous girl at the center of Realizing Infinity. The girl is a dancer named Feng Ya Ping whom Kevin saw during his art residency in Shenzhen, China in 2017. The smooth, twisting movement of the dancer’s body shows that meditation is not just about sitting still, but can also be accomplished through movement.
