Base 23’s Achtung! is a reference to Roskilde, the music festival in Denmark where this artwork was first displayed. His ‘robotic planet’ celebrates the unique synergy that results from all individual energies that are gathered together during this event. After crashing on planet Earth, the character rests half-buried in the ground, surrounded by the remnants of the explosion.
