STRAAT is one of four nominees in the Netherlands vying for the title of Best Museum. Aside from the Rijksmuseum, we’ll be competing against Nemo Science Museum and Fashion for Good Museum, in a category that was won last year by the Van Gogh Museum. The selection of nominees is based on which venues have the best customer ratings on Tiqets.com. In other words: The people have spoken!Â

The selection of the winning venues in the Best Attraction, Best Museum, Best Onsite Experiences, Most Remarkable Venue, and Best Landmark categories will be based on 850,000+ customer reviews of venues on Tiqets.com. The final winners will be announced at the Remarkable Venue Awards Ceremony on November 10th at the Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS) in Seville.
The Tiqets Remarkable Venue Awards were established in 2017 to recognise and celebrate the best attractions and museums in the most-visited cities around the world. The first Tiqets Remarkable Venue Awards was hosted in Paris in 2017. The 2021 awards honors winners in seven award categories and six markets: the UK & Ireland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the US. Previous award winners have included Sagrada Familia, Musée d'Orsay, and the Van Gogh Museum.Â
