Hiobsbotschaft (2017)

Sokar Uno began painting graffiti in 1999, quickly evolving into a more figurative style often featuring humans that look like bronze sculptures that have been broken apart. Although depicting a precise, detailed scene, Hiobsbotschaft (‘Bad news’) leaves margin for interpretation.
“I was driven by emotion, so it’s hard to describe it with words. What would art be anyways if everything could also be expressed in words?” / Sokar Uno
