Odeith first started writing graffiti in the mid 80s. In 2003, he adopted the name Odeith. Under this alias, he started to gain international recognition for his innovative use of the anamorphosis technique. His compositions, often painted on 90 degree corners or flat walls, create a mesmerizing 3D optical illusion effect.
“Coming here, I really wanted to challenge myself to create something unique. I think this is one of my best anamorphic works to date. There is a double meaning to the snakes surrounding Medusa. On the one hand, they represent dark thoughts and anger let loose. But at the same time, they can protect you from negative energies.” / Odeith
