Chrome is a technique of coating chromium onto a metal object. In Bonzai’s work, it changes the subjects of the paintings in ‘liquid chrome’ as if melting. In One liquid chrome we see the world map displayed in this particular style. The painting represents the artist’s desire for equality, since we are all connected to one another and live on the same planet.
