Our workshops are always combined with a STRAAT museum visit, so you’re guaranteed to find inspiration for your very own masterpiece. And for only € 10,- extra p.p you can combine your workshop with a private guided tour through our museum exhibition with one of our experienced tour guides.
STRAAT offers experiences to general museum visitors, as well as a broad range of customized activities for professional organizations, private groups and educational institutes.
We welcome all people, regardless of artistic skills. Your expert teacher will show you all the required techniques to create your own artwork.
Our STRAAT workshops are ideal for all kinds of events. Allow us to organize your team building day, company outing, family event, bachelor’s party or school field trip, and we’ll make sure it will be an unforgettable day! Our workshops are available in both English and Dutch. We also organize workshops specifically for kids, as well as stencil workshops for all ages.
For private bookings we charge a minimum group price of 10 persons.

Our workshops graffiti for kids’ parties are the ideal way to introduce the young ones to spray can art. These workshops are suited to children aged 8 and up and take place outdoors. In case of bad weather, we also offer the possibility of painting under cover.
Duration: 90 minutes
Price: From € 25,- per person
The workshops start with a short tour of the NDSM terrain and a bit of education for inspirational purposes. The kids then start designing their work with a pencil on paper. Once the design is finalized, they get busy painting their artwork with spray cans.
All workshops have a short break, which allows our experienced instructor to add a finishing touch to the works, and allows the kids to unwrap gifts and/or eat and drink something. You can arrange catering through our STRAAT Cafe or bring your own.
At the end of the workshop, the kids have the opportunity to take home their own canvas, a lovely souvenir of a special day!
The workshop package deal includes a museum visit. If you would like to visit the museum as part of the workshop, we kindly ask you to coordinate this with us.
